30th October 2003:
New picture today. The image of Azeri Fleet, in all its glory. I was pretty happy with the outcome, even though to took me nearly all afternoon to complete. I have also made the full size image (1024x768) available for you to view, and keep them as a background if you like.
I am also expecting a very welcome CD from Mr Andrew Hodges from Star Trek Australia in the near future, which should make for some interesting additions to this page. Keep an eye out.

11th October 2003:
3D Art is a new interest of mine. I am trying out a couple of programs at the moment. One being Lightwave Version 6.5, the other being 3D Studio Max version 4.2. I have created about 7 images at the moment. They are only trials to see what I can come up with. One of the images to the banner above, and I was pretty happy with the results, except for the fact that the Nova and Akira class vessels have purple bussards. Buggered if I can figure out why, but it is going to have to be something that will need to be fixed to make it look at least right. I also need to have a fiddle with light sourcing. The images were all created on 3D Studio Max (as I didn't have any meshes for Lightwave at the time), and I think they still came out pretty good since I didn't read anything into it and just fiddled at my own pace. Lets have a look shall we. Please remember that the quality of the image you will see on this page will not be as good as the full sized image, for obvioous reasons :-)
